It is hard to believe that Amal Journey has come to an end. Before joining Amal, I was not aware of the answer to a question “Where to start?”. I was like a person who was unproductive, lost and confused. I never believed in magic before experiencing Amal. My magical journey started in March 2021 and is now wrapping up in June 2021. Besides hearing a lot about the positive impact of Amal on its fellows, I never wanted to join the academy in the start. I filled out the form to complete a formality, but Amal dragged me in after sending a congratulation email. I really want to thank each and every person at Amal who maintains a positive energy and consistency throughout the fellowship.

In the last session named “Taking Flight ‘’ we played a scavenger hunt game. It was a fun game where we were supposed to find the specified items after solving the riddle. The session reflects the principle of Ek or Ek Gayara as we worked as a unit and solved the problem together. I think it is really important to sometimes engage in activities that boost up mental health and relieve stress.

Memories of last session

My Amal family represents amazing people having different perspectives and approaches towards challenges in life. I am glad to spend the best time through connection with my fellows and facilitators. We are able to make a beautiful bond through interaction in the three months. I found each one of them supportive and will remain in contact with such motivated and energetic people even after fellowship.

I have learned a lot of new things during the fellowship that helps me to become a better person both personally and professionally. Amal teaches me to be a life-longer learner who works hard with grit. I will not stop here and will continue to play my role to make this society a better place.
