The Impactful Journey
Amal Academy started in 2013 out of Stanford University and is helping out thousands of fellows to grow professionally. It is a program that helps the enrolled and fresh university graduates to follow their career dreams by learning the professional skills.
My Amal journey begins through selection in March 2021. I have uncovered fresh concepts throughout the fellowship program that turned me optimistic and positive towards life. Though, it is difficult to specify one impactful occasion out of magical experience. But the passenger series was the most motivating and engaging trip for me. I have learned about passion, gratitude, storytelling and communication in the online courses and engaging sessions and have translated the learnings in mock interviews.
Following the right procedure from job application until the reflection after the interview is really important. I have observed my Amal fellows who showed gratitude and went an extra mile in the job application process. Their action motivated me to put the best foot forward and stand out by coming out of my comfort zone.
When I look back and analyze the previous two years of my life. I feel unwise for missing out on most of the opportunities in life. I assured myself to never repeat those mistakes. Last but not the least hard work is a key to success only when you work in the right direction.
