Fixing your stuff: we are product of our surroundings
Where are my hands-free?
The question continuously popped in my mind while searching for my hands-free. I need my hands-free to watch a video in Amal course. After struggling for 15 minutes I just went to the corner of my room to see how my room looks like. Frankly speaking it was a mess. This moment I know it’s better to settle everything out. So, I shut down my laptop and located four different spots that needs improvement.
First of all, my bed was chaotic. I could find everything on my bed except my hands-free. There were plates, water bottle, bags, stack of notes and pointer laying on my bed side tables. The bed had laptops and a bed cover positioned in a disorganized manner. I picked up my plates and bottle and went to place them in kitchen. Then I removed the stack of notes and bag from bed side table and placed them in lower draw. I cleared a bed by removing laptops and bed cover. While removing pillows I finally got an eye on my hands-free. Then I made my bed and placed the fluffed pillows on it.
The next thing I decided to clean was my sister’s study table holding a stack of books and giving a monstrous look. She never ever let me touch it. For my betterment I only touch it when she is not around. I placed her books in proper order, her pen in her mug, her calculator and ink pot right beside the mug. She was happy after seeing the table.
Then I moved towards a book shelf. Believe me I took care of my shelf on regular basis. But still it looks disorganized after every one week. My novels and books were piled upside down without any order. Well, it was hard to find anything in there. So, I set my files and books in proper order. I placed my novels by making another set. After figuring everything out it looked neat and well-organized.
Afterwards I went outside of my room to see what to do next. The rug in my lounge had almost everything on it. Well, let’s clean it because that what girls do. I picked up my dressing table stool and laptop table one by one to place it in room. Once, sorting everything out I sat on my floor cushions for a while to think about the benefits of fixing things out in our surroundings.
The points that I concluded about the benefits of fixing my surroundings are
Everything looks neat and approachable in a well-organized place
Your surrounding gives an impression about your personality. It’s better to keep them neat before anyone knocks on your door
It motivates to take responsibility and initiatives for working on the ruined situations
Last but not the least it will make your mama happy.
